House rules

At AndersGGZ we work on recovery in a safe, respectful and pleasant environment. Our house rules help with that. They apply to clients, staff and visitors, at all our locations. The rules are only about safety and an orderly course of things, so everyone feels at ease with us.

Respectful interaction

  • We treat each other with respect, regardless of origin, language, faith, gender or background.
  • Aggression, violence, threats and intimidation are not tolerated.
  • Discrimination and unwanted behaviour have no place here.

Safety

  • Your safety and that of others come first. In emergencies, follow the instructions of our staff.
  • Bringing weapons or other dangerous objects is not allowed.
  • See an unsafe situation? Report it to a staff member.

Keeping appointments

  • Arrive on time for your appointment. Your practitioner is also present on time.
  • Can't make it? Cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance.
  • For a no-show we charge 70 euros; this is not reimbursed by your health insurer.

Alcohol, tobacco and drugs

  • You come to your appointment sober. The use of alcohol or drugs before or during an appointment is not allowed.
  • Smoking is not allowed in and directly in front of our buildings. Everyone has the right to clean air.

Privacy and recordings

  • Respect the privacy of other clients and staff.
  • You only make photos, audio or video recordings with the consent of those involved.
  • What you see or hear about others, you keep confidential.

Phone, computer and internet

  • Use phone, computer and internet with respect for others.
  • During conversations we put our phone on silent, so we give each other the attention needed.

Personal belongings and shared spaces

  • Take good care of your own things. We don't lend, swap or trade among ourselves.
  • Leave shared spaces tidy, so they stay pleasant for the next person.
